My parents and brother came to visit! We tried to do a few new things this time! We ate ate Hash House A Go Go---make it a priority and order a banana flap jack... you will NOT be disappointed (go hungry)! We went to the Mormon Battallion--went on the journey from Iowa to San Diego, panned for gold, and checked out the scenery from the tower, took pics in the covered wagon...also on a must do list! We also drove up the coast and went to Catalina! Catalina was ablast...my suggestion would be to go early rent the golf cart (no cars to rent---14 year waiting list to get a car on the island) and then walk through town and check out the cool shops and yummy restaurants! Bring a deck of cards to play games on the boat ride back (it is too dark to see the sites). We ate the famous Corvette Diner and had our traditional mani-pedis!!! Hope they come back soon!
