Today I went to Balboa Park--I met up with my friend Leighangela. We walked through the botanical garden--decorated with Poinsettias, past the reflection pool, to the international cottages, and then over the the Hall of Champions Museum.
Every Tuesday Balboa offers a different Museum open for free. Since I have not wanted to do much these days it was actually really nice to go out. Being so far from home (esp. around the Holidays) is difficult at times--I miss my family and my friends. I have been blessed to meet some really great new friends---Leighangela is one of those! Thanks for hanging with me today!
